Due to continued growth, we are looking for a pro-active Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Advisor to join our highly successful team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilize their skills to the full and would suit an ambitious candidate seeking their next challenge.
The key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of the business of Elastomer and Plastic moulding to assist the site teams and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining, and improving the health, safety, environmental and Quality standards. Championing HSEQ initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.
The position is based in our Aberdeen office and reports to the Quality Manager. The successful candidate will drive improvements throughout the business, problem solving, developing and maintaining a positive safety culture across operational areas, proactively improving compliance and standards, accident investigations, and liaising with external service providers to ensure highest level of service and compliance.
Candidates must be certified in NEBOSH or equivalent, with experience within a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Must have sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, attention to details and ability to communicate at all levels, and the ability and desire to drive improvements applying knowledge for solutions.
Lead auditor will be viewed advantageously.
