Working from home (around the West Midlands), you will be joining an established and hugely successful business who is synonymous not only with providing a first-class service to their customers and who has an enviable reputation for safe working.
If you have an exceptional work ethic, can manage you time effectively and have first class IT skills you can expect a salary of up to £35,000 plus car / car allowance together with an achievable 10% performance bonus. Benefits include pension; cash plan healthcare and death in service.
What’s the Job?
You will probably be based around the West Midlands and you will be providing SHEQ support across a wide range of customers; you will be involved in:
- Communicating the SHEQ strategy across the business
- Continually maintaining and reviewing processes and procedures
- Source and book training and maintain records
- Attend nationwide meetings
- Carry out CDM inspections
- Assist in pre-qualification questionnaires
- Provide document control
- Assist with audits
- Record and investigate H&S incidents and near misses
- General administration
What Skills do I need?
You will already be working within a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality role within a construction related environment; you will also need:
- NEBOSH accredited
- Approachable, organised and a good understanding of legislation
- An effective communicator both verbal and written
- A proven background within construction
- Sub-contract and CDM understanding desirable
- Document management experience (ISO 45001; 9001 and 14001) desirable
- Exceptional IT skills
