Here at SEA LIFE London we look after thousands of animals, including Black Tip Reef Sharks, Gentoo Penguins, Sea Turtles, Clownfish, and many other coral reef inhabitants! Not many people can say they work somewhere where they truly come face-to-fin with such amazing creatures.
To help enhance the overall experience we’re currently on the lookout for Admissions and Ticketing Assistants who will be integral in providing memorable experiences to our guests during their time discovering an underwater world.
About the role
This is a 6 month, seasonal position, offering a minimum of 10 guaranteed hours per week. The attraction is open daily and so flexibility will be needed as shifts include weekend, bank holidays and peak periods.
Within this role you will be part of the team responsible for selling tickets for not only our truly fintastic attraction, but for the other Merlin sites in London, making sure you are delivering maximum cross attraction up sells and that you understand and achieve daily sales targets.
You’ll also be helping to handle our queue lines, maintaining a consistently positive demeanour at all times when it comes to guests queries and concerns, making sure that every guest interaction goes above and beyond.
About you
- Ideally, you will already have experience of working to a high standard in a cash handling environment.
- You’ll have experience of working within a fast-paced customer service environment, ideally within the hospitality, entertainments, or retail industry, but rest assured that whatever your background, full training will be given.
- You’ll be familiar working within strict health & safety procedures and be willing to undergo training.
- You’ll display a sense of fun and have the willingness to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our guests
