The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating high quality of patient centered care pathways via the Admissions team. The candidate will lead the team to achieve its aims and objectives. The person will be active in building up relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external and have a proactive approach. The shift patterns will be 7.5hrs ( 30min lunch break) between 6am to 6pm, occasionally Saturdays, this will be in rotation with other team members. Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our independent private Hospital has just been rated the number one in the country for care in the latest Bupa survey. Good leadership and motivational skills Proactive in assessing and delivering high standards of patient care Building and Maintaining relationships with all stakeholders Flexibility in response to the needs of the department Attention to detail for assessing the effectiveness and responsiveness of local processes Good Team working skills Uphold the values and responsibilities of the department What are the Responsibilities of the Admissions Office Supervisor role? To undertake as required the full duties of the Admissions Officer role To be responsible for ensuring all duties within the department are completed within agreed timeframes To develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders To be proactive in ensuring the team and department meet the standards of excellent patient centered care To work with other departments and managers to ensure patients are safely managed through the agreed pathways To be responsible for updating policies and procedures within the department To be responsible as the first line manager for the Admissions team to ensure the team is well supported.
