Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our motivated and professional admissions team at the University of Reading. As an Admissions Administrator you will facilitate admissions to all award-bearing courses at the University. You will support applicants, prospective applicants and their advisors throughout the admissions process, including responding to enquiries, assessing applications and processing recommendations from tutors.
You will have:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines

No previous work experience in University admissions is required and we provide extensive training to all new starters, including a full induction programme of training and shadowing with other team members.

Hybrid working arrangements: everyone has their own dedicated workstation in our friendly open plan office on campus and we also support hybrid working. Admissions Administrators can work from home two days a week if they wish, and we will provide all the technical equipment needed to do so.

We offer a generous entitlement of 21 days in addition to 8 bank holidays and 6 additional closure days at Christmas and Easter time each year where no staff are required to work.
