External Engagement &Global (EEG) Admissions Office

Summary of the role
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, experienced administrator to join a very busy and dynamic Admissions Office, delivering a central service to support the University’s Faculties in meeting their targets, to recruit the best qualified students to the University.
To be successful in this role, you will need good organisational and administrative skills. You will need to be able to work flexibly under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as have previous experience of delivering excellent customer services. Ideally, we would prefer someone who has experience of using a large database system and the ability to follow complex sets of procedures. In addition, you will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and applicants. An understanding of admissions processes, with some knowledge of either UK or international qualifications would be an advantage.
This post sits within the Postgraduate Research Admissions team within the Admissions Department. You will support with the application process, processing applications, responding to enquiries via telephone, online chat and email. Full training will be provided to suitable applicants who do not have a background in Admissions or Postgraduate Research Higher Education setting.
