Fox Morris are working with London Borough of Redbridge Council in relations to finding a Administrator (YJS) to start work ASAP!
Responsibilities
- To assist with and answer all incoming telephone enquiries and greet visitors in the reception area. On occasions this involves liaising with challenging clients in the reception area.
- To provide up to date information to assist clients, or refer them to appropriate contacts, either within this team or elsewhere.
- To respond to queries from and liaise with other staff, the public, and external agencies such as the Police, Probation, Health and Education as appropriate. This may involve checking the information database.
- To assist in recording and distributing information post court and to record the progress of cases. These tasks will include updating databases, sending out notifications.
- To manage and maintain distributions lists, membership lists and internal databases, occasionally composing basic correspondence.
- To manage and maintain room booking facilities and equipment in line with the service needs, making sure that all equipment is in good condition meeting safety standards. Support the court admin team with updating court results and out of court disposals, as well as maintaining internal spread-sheets with the information. This will include creating new cases, updating information, monitoring progress of case outcomes.
- To provide cover for the work of other members of the team according to workload pressures and staffing capacity.
- To ensure that all YJS secure and generic mailboxes are regularly updated, managed and actioned accordingly.
- To ensure that information is entered into all databases promptly and accurately and that data is updated and maintained.
You will be required to work Monday-Friday (9:00-5:00pm). This is based on a 6 month contract and the pay negotiable.

Salary: £13.30-£16.00 per hour

- Youth Offending Service/YOS/Youth Justice Service/YJS: 1 year (required)
- Admin/BSO/Business Support Officer/BSA: 1 year (required)
- Councils/Council/Local Authority/Borough Of: 1 year (required)
