Our client, Legal & General, is currently looking for a part-time Administrator to join the Commercial Contract Operations Team and provide support across Group Technology for the processing and oversight of Purchase Orders, Requisitions and Invoices relating to our strategic and critical suppliers.

This is a part-time role where you will work 3 days (21 hours) per week. For the first 2 weeks these 3 days will be within Monday-Thursday, thereafter you will work every Friday, the other 2 days are flexible.

For the right candidate, we can offer you up to £150 p/d inside of IR35 (inclusive of holiday pay) to join L&G on an initial 26-week contract, with the possibility of conversion to permanent role, subject to business requirements. Role will be predominantly remote based with the understanding that occasional office attendance will be required in the Hove office to meet with the team, 1-2 times per month.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring invoices and purchase orders are accurate and reflect what has been agreed under contract.
  • Managing the mailbox and responding to queries.
  • Operating key processes to ensure high level of service is provided to our stakeholders around invoice and purchase order processing, this will include checking work orders to confirm compliance.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders as required (including other internal colleagues, Service Providers and Finance Teams), to resolve process issues related to Invoicing and MI.
  • Supporting the Head of Strategic Contract Management with the provision of data to support internal reporting.
  • Handling and managing through to closure any customer and Service Provider complaints ensuring appropriate and timely corrective action.

What we’re looking for:

  • Administration experience is essential – ideally within Procurement, Supplier Management and/or Financial Services, although this is not essential.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • The willingness to embrace new technologies and learn new processes and systems.
  • A reliable and unflappable individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Experience of P2P systems is highly desirable, but not essential.
