Marketing & Events Administrator - £12-15 per hour + benefits
Office based in Camberley. Part-time, some flexible working available.
Overview
Working within this town centre marketing and events organisation, the marketing and events administrator will be supporting a manager and a marketing executive with a variety of administrative tasks in this bright, fun and diverse role. You will be OFFICE BASED in the town centre, with some flexible working/working from home when the duties assigned allign.
Job Content: Administrator
· Assist with event organisation and work within our small in-house team to deliver them successfully
· Communicate regularly with customers to ensure they are getting the maximum benefits from the centralised marketing and promotional support
· Assist with the delivery of the annual newsletter
· Maintain mailing lists and online business directories
· Attend our events, and networking activities we host
· Ensure relevant communications are delivered electronically or in person by hand (road closures, general information, new business meetings)
· Administration of the town centre ‘radio scheme’ – issue handsets, replace radios
· Raising purchase orders and invoices for payment
· Entering financial information onto the relevant spreadsheets
· Maintain petty cash and associated paperwork, receipts etc
· Updating the master budget spreadsheet
· Take minutes at Board Meetings, attending with / or in the absence of your Manager
· Answering calls and emails and post - filing, general office support as needed and in order to keep things running efficiently and effectively
Experience and personal attributes
· Experience in a varied administration role
· Confident communication skills, good interpersonal skills
· Flexible with working hours as we will be flexible with hybrid working
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Knowledge of/living local to Camberley town centre
· Comfortable working in a small team, using initiative and working at times with minimal supervision

Salary and benefits
Offering between £12-15 per hour, pension and according to the hours worked, pro-rated annual leave (full time equivalent of 28 days including Bank Holidays). Flexibility during events and peak periods – overtime or time in lieu given for working at events outside of contracted hours.
