Job description

Experienced Administrator required, this is a zero hours position (with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate) flexible hours working from home.

Working from home and based around central Southern England including the Isle of Wight, you will be responsible for a variety of basic admin tasks including maintenance of spreadsheets, typing, follow up of contractors and data cleansing. The position is a zero-hour contract so you will be required to work flexible ad-hoc hours and working pattern. You will need to be an excellent communicator as this role will involve speaking to contractors, emailing clients and speaking to internal stakeholders within the business and responsibilities will often change as will be explained by your line manager. Laptop, Mobile Phone and email address will be provided.

Duties include:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills required. Experience of CAFM systems is desirable.
  • Data cleansing and database work
  • Work in Progress (WIP) log maintenance
  • Process PPM, reactive and extra works to quotation, PO and invoice in a timely manner
  • Typing, scanning and filing
  • Planning and researching
  • Travel planning
  • General willingness to learn and operate new IT software.
  • Chase appropriate party for supporting information (subcontractor & engineers reports and work updates, subcontractor & supplier invoices) if not in place & file accordingly.
  • Any other ad hoc task that are deemed necessary by the Head of Hard Services

Qualifications or Required Experience:

  • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel …)
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about most of the following:

Fire alarm and sprinkler systems, AHUs, Hot water heating, Cooling Towers, Shutters and doors,

lifts and cranes, pressure systems and pumps, Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers, Lightning

protection, Compressed Air, Expansion Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Leak Detection systems,

Uninterrupted Power Supplies, bus bars, three phase and gas plant.
