We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our Real Estate (Commercial Property) team within our Geldards Nottingham office.
Within this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance to Partners and other fee earners within the Nottingham team ensuring that the needs of the clients are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive sort, scan, and distribute internal and external mail.
- Create and update deeds schedules.
- Create new and archive existing deeds packets
- Support the opening/closing and creating of client matters and files.
- Request files, deeds, and documents from storage.
- Scan, print, and copy documents for the team.
- Prepare physical and electronic engrossment documents
- Carry out various types of searches
- Support the team to ensure compliance with its core standards which will include managing the team and critical dates calendars, managing and updating the team matter spread sheet for auditing purposes
- Arrange meetings as requested including, equipment and catering
- Support the team with onboarding new clients and updating ID for existing clients
- Assist with billing
- Support the team’s legal sector social media presence and content creation
- To deal courteously and promptly with colleagues in relation to any instructions or queries arising.
- To adhere to all policies and procedures and requirements of the firm;.
- Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and post.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by a Partner to ensure the smooth running of the team and firm.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- To be well turned out and presentable in order to be client facing should the need arise (for example, collecting ID for copying and witnessing documents).
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Self- motivated and able to use own initiative whilst also being a team player.
- Ability to cope with high workload and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills – dealing with telephone clients in a friendly, personable, and professional manner.
- Good keyboard, and IT skills and a genuine interest in social media .

In return you will have the opportunity to develop your career within our high ranked Real Estate (Commercial Property) team based in our Nottingham offices and will be paid a competitive salary (dependent on experience) as well as qualifying for other benefits such as a day of for your birthday and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to a maximum of 30 days for additional years of service)
