SALARY: £28,200 - £35,000

The Opportunity
To provide support to the digital purchasing team, to assist in delivering excellent customer service and key business processes, through reporting on team performance metrics, applying business rules to transactions and supporting business critical initiatives relating to our digital supply chain. The individual will be an active member of the team and be able to deliver timely and efficient administrative duties. They will need to be proactive in their delivery and adaptable in their working style to achieve a variety of tasks within the role.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Role:
Provide administrative support and maintain documentation to enable effective delivery of team objectives
Deliver reports on team performance metrics
Create document templates and develop processes to increase efficiency and consistency within the team
Provide administrative support in the entry, manipulation and reporting of data
Act as a point of contact for the team on general queries
Attend meetings, take minutes, circulate notes and issue agendas
Book venues, catering and general events logistics
Coordinate on-boarding programmes for new starters and ensure effective transition into the team
Manage team communications to include changes in policies and procedures
Support regional employee visits to the UK
Assist with the coordination and organisation of supplier events
Manage key information concerning the suppliers / partners in our digital supply chain and support information gathering and requirement cascade initiatives as required
Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
Liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Experience required
Essential:
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing organisation
Detail orientated with good organisational and time management skills
Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to interpret data with consideration of functional priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with data management and manipulation
Excellent IT skills – particularly with Microsoft Office
Confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
Desirable:
Some previous experience working in an administration role
Proven track record of demonstrating logic and analytical thinking
Existing knowledge of working with finance processes
Extensive data management skills
