What are we looking for?
We’re excited to recruit our first administrator. As the administrator, you will report directly to the Head of Resourcing and play a vital role in supporting various administrative activities throughout the organisation. This includes tasks such as booking hotel rooms, coordinating events, processing reports, handling invoices, managing the monthly newsletter, and much more. For candidates with a finance administration background, there is a fantastic opportunity to advance into a more senior finance role within the company.
What we expect from you
We are a people business, a genuine passion for assisting busy colleagues and excellent communication skills is essential. Strong business admin skills are key to this new and diverse role along with a flexible and organised approach to handle various responsibilities effectively.
We are searching for an administrator who can work efficiently, independently, and possesses a strong determination to see tasks through to completion. Quick integration into our team is essential, as you will be providing support with a range of administrative duties. As a valued member of our growing Whitetree family, you’ll work alongside a professional consulting team, many are ex-military and from the defence industry. Your skills and knowledge will likely include:
- Previous administrative experience and strong organisational skills
- Experience in a professional services business and/or remote working would be ideal
- A positive, helpful and pro-active attitude with strong customer service skills, do you go the extra mile?
- Good IT skills, in particular MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, it would be useful to have used MS Forms, Planner and Sway before but not essential
- Current right to live and work in the UK
- You must be happy to work from home with occasional travel to work collaboratively
The Role
Engaging with our Directors, Leadership, and Consulting team you will be the first point of call for valuable administration support across the business. Working within a small and remote team, your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, making each day unique and full of surprises. Your administration support will touch all areas of our business including operational, HR, recruitment, commercial, financial, and more. Your typical tasks will include:
- Processing bills, invoices and purchase orders
- Assisting with drafting of contracts and agreements
- Organising meeting and hotel bookings
- Supporting recruitment advertising and CV formatting tasks
- Assisting with events planning and social media postings
- Supporting the organisation of new staff onboarding
- A variety of other pan-business admin tasks
