The CFO Centre (Part of CFO Centre Group) is the UK and Global Market Leader for part-time Finance Director services delivering Time, Money and Peace of Mind to ambitious mid-tier owner managers, typically with businesses with turnover between £2m and £50m.
To support significant growth, the company is now looking for an ambitious administrator who has an important part to play in supporting the UK Legal and Compliance Team, which currently comprises of the Head of Legal & Compliance, the Group Risk Advisor, the Commercial Paralegal and the Legal & Compliance Executive.
Candidates will be energetic and self-driven individuals with a natural ability and enjoyment of developing relationships, and who want to work in a collegiate environment.
Job Responsibilities of the Administrator
- Ownership of the review, preparation, management and storage of client contracts and compliance documentation (e.g. Engagement Letters, NDA’s and Novation Letters).
- Working with the Legal and Compliance Executive to ensure the company’s compliance with its regulatory requirements. This involves offering support with the company’s ongoing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Programme, by assisting with client due-diligence, KYC (Know-your-Client) and client risk assessments.
- Supporting the Legal and Compliance Team with its IR35 Status Determination Statement process, ensuring appropriate documentation is supplied by applicable clients and supplied to our contractors.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Team (e.g. taking and distributing minutes at meetings and filing, scanning and maintaining documents as required).
- Assisting with the administration of the company’s mandatory training programme.
- Assisting the Legal and Compliance Team with ongoing projects.
- Maintaining a diary of upcoming deadlines.
- Building relationships with our client facing representatives to help maintain and communicate ongoing and/or new Legal and Compliance matters.
Requirements of the Administrator
- Excellent time management skills with a proficiency in prioritising work appropriately
- Demonstrable experience of working as part of a wider team
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Experience working in a compliance or legal team (desirable but not essential)
- Experience using an e-signature platform such as DocuSign (desirable but not essential)
