About the Trust
We’re a community and mental health trust, providing a wide range of services to people of all ages living in Berkshire. And to do this, we employ approximately 4,500 staff who operate from our many sites as well as out in people’s homes and in various community settings.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Provide confidential, administrative support to the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) including answering telephone enquiries, diary management, arrangement of meetings, minute taking, prioritising, and answering routine correspondence and e-mails as directed.
· Contribute to the development of effective CMHT business services, both internal and external, through establishing good customer relationships and by delivering high quality support services
· Support the CMHT in the co-ordination and direction of corporate and/or directorate tasks and activities.
· Support the project work of the team / service, to prepare research material and collate data as required.
· Respond to routine telephone and written enquiries on behalf of the CMHT as appropriate.
· Attend meetings, take minutes, circulate documents, and follow up action as necessary.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
