Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 - with hybrid working
Role summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer’s purchase orders on to the SAP system, efficiently and in a timely manner, whilst fulfilling all order requirements from beginning to end. Following up all orders to ensure the delivery has been made on time and in full. Also acting as the main telephone point of contact for dedicated customers and answering all customer calls professionally and speedily. Aim to achieve excellent customer service levels.
Skills/Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Enhances sales channels and Mitsubishi relationships by developing and continually improving upon processes
- Working collaboratively with the business manager sharing forward forecasts with business planning and operations and clearly understanding the business and customer demands to ensure stock is available
- Promotes and monitors the implementation of new processes to improve the customer journey involving all stakeholders
- Be first point of contact to the sales channels on supply chain issues and communicate to key stakeholders within the business of any information that needs to be understood for customer orders
- Problems and issue should be understood, and problem solved before escalation, if this cannot be prevented then business must be fully equipped with solutions and information.
- Understanding of prioritisation and to be able to make decisions based on data analysis and requirements
- Regular meetings with the sales channels to review service performance against agreed SLA’s and overall customer satisfaction.
- When workshopping new process developments ensure to include the voice of the customer
- Promote internal information sharing between operations and business management team
- Responsible for the overall sales channel operations team to deliver on agreed KPI’s
- The job holder needs to manage their time ensuring all areas of responsibility is looked after, they would need to manage their time: 50% of time spent with customers, 25% with operations and 25% on analysing data
- They will be the key link between business managers, Op’s and sales channels
