We are looking for a talented Administrator to join our Court of Protection team in Sheffield on a Six month fixed term contract.
Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
If you enjoy being part of a successful, friendly and high-performing team, then this is the job for you. You’ll be working closely with the team’s Associates and Partners in Court of Protection to make sure they have the right administrative support at all times. This is a busy and fast-paced role, so you’ll need to be able to work quickly and accurately, building strong relationships with your team and our clients. There’s lots of room for progression and we’d really like to support you in your professional development.
- Supporting teams with general paper-based and/or digital administration tasks, this may include but is not limited to; printing, paper-based and digital document handling, preparing files for scanning, creating, uploading and amending documentation using relevant systems, archiving, e-filing and file and matter maintenance and opening and closing files on relevant systems.
- Ensuring all relevant tasks on the relevant case management system, database or programme are updated where required and that all team files are in good order and in accordance with agreed practice.
- Handling and collecting data from case handlers.
- Working across multiple inboxes to ensure department tasks are completed in line with SLA’s, both individually and as part of a team. Priortising tasks where needed.
- Contact external parties to gather information and resolve queries if required by department.
- Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably requested by the Team Leader or case handler.
- Liaise regularly with Team Leader to ensure work is monitored and feedback is received.
