Job description
We have various opportunities within the Clinical Administration Team based in the Gynaecology Outpatients department in the Women's and Children' s Hospital. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who will enjoy varied administration roles.
Gynaecology is a very busy but rewarding department that is part of wider team within Hub 4. You will be joining a very supportive and friendly team and together you will help deliver the best treatment possible to our patients.
The Administrator will support the administration team to manage the end to end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers .
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As an Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
We have 3 posts to fill in virous Departments and Locations across both Hull Royal and Castle Hill sites. These posts are for Outpatient and Secretarial work within our Clinical Administration Hubs.
Our Administratorsplay a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of the patients end-to-end pathway and supporting the wider team. Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include;
- Management of appointments
- Face to face Patient contact
- Reception duties
- Answering the telephone
- Helping track our patients through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills;
