Administrator - Part Time
20 hours per week (ideally worked over 5 days)
£11,842.76 per year
Home-Start Lomond is looking to employ a new Administrator to assist in the general running of the Home-Start Helensburgh Scheme. The post will consist of general administrative duties including report writing, database management, maintaining financial records, diary management, filing and mailing etc. The postholder will be expected to ensure good communication with all scheme stakeholders, ensuring good practice in equality, diversity and fairness.
Key areas of the role include:
- Managing the Home-Start families Relationship Management System, inputting data and preparing reports as directed by the Scheme Manager.
- Providing administrative support to assist in the recruitment and continuous support of volunteers & staff including PVG applications/renewals and reference checks for staff & volunteers via Disclosure Scotland.
- Administering the payment of staff and volunteer expenses.
- Assisting with hospitality for visitors to the office and ensuring the office is maintained, organised and kept clean and tidy.
- Maintaining efficient, accurate and confidential records, including statistics collection and collation using the agreed database and other systems.
- Preparing reports, newsletters, minutes of meetings and publicity material.
- Supporting events and meetings as required including social events.
- Maintaining supplies of stationery and office sundries.
- Issuing agenda, minutes and reports for meetings within the agreed timescales.
- Assist in the running of Social media, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter.
- Complying with all Home-Start policies and procedures.
