Administrator
You will be part of a small team dealing with work order management on a large contract - the candidate will be working with various systems so must have good administrative and IT skills and be able to adapt to different requirements when needed. Working hours will generally be between 8:30 am to 5pm Monday to Friday with an average of 42.5 hours per week. However, the ideal candidate must be flexible to meet client demands.
The Access control team are part of the larger DWP Access and Information Centre team at Tewkesbury which hosts all of the DWP helpdesks and security administration. The individual will manage the access control system, ID Card programming and production, work order requests and answering phone calls and other communication channels.

Responsibilities:
- ID card production & management
- Supporting the Card Production operators
- Completing and managing work orders during times of high activity
- Provide quality service delivery
- Providing general administration in support of the contract management team
- Access Control system Management
- User issue investigation, escalation and resolution
- System Alarm and incident support
- Assisting with the creation and administration of departmental reports when requested
- Work closely with the contract management team and assist with a wide range of support tasks.

The position has been created to support a project for the DWP in the transition of their access control system to a new platform. This requires the programming and issue of new cards to the 100000 users of the multiple access control systems across the DWP estate. As an Operator, the individual will be a competent and skilled individual who performs security and administration tasks, ensuring standards are met for both customer and company requirements.
