We are seeking a number of Administrators to join our Practice Administration Team within Legal Support Services function in our Belfast Support Hub.

The Practice Administration Team support our UK, European and US offices with a vast array of administration tasks. Practice Administration are an ingrained part of the Fieldfisher family and make significant contributions to our workforce and are known for their supportive, hardworking and collaborative culture.

As a Practice Administrator, you will be...

  • Processing expenses, invoices and payments received, ensuring that the correct charge codes are used and follow up action taken where appropriate.
  • Conflict checks in collaboration with the Risk team.
  • Creation of engagement letters using the firm's systems
  • Assisting with Client and matter inception
  • Organising Conferences
  • Sending internal calendar invites
  • Raising billing guides and assisting with the billing process.
  • Time recording for intercompany consultants
  • Property Searches
  • Electronic filing including data room management, downloading and uploading large amounts of files to internal and shared systems
  • Adding to and updating the firm's Interaction database (CRM)
  • Conducting research.

A bit about you

Essential skills/criteria

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths grades 6-9 (A-C)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • A good understanding of our firm and our values

Desirable skills/criteria

  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in improving administrative processes
  • Driven and determined for a career in professional services
