Job Description
We provide educational and training services in employment law to employment lawyers and HR Professionals, through two sister companies:-
- the first company provides online and in person lectures to employment lawyers and HR Professionals, along with other one-to-many training resources, such as HR Policies and redundancy toolkits. Most of our resources can be seen at www.danielbarnett.com
- the second company is a membership club providing community and interactive online resources for the UK’s smartest HR professionals (www.hrinnercircle.co.uk).
You will be employed by the first company, Employment Law Services Limited, and will also provide services for the second company, HR Inner Circle Limited.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Handling advertising on our regular employment law email updates: dealing with initial enquiries via email and preparing proofs for clients; keeping careful records for our bookkeeper for invoicing purposes.
2. Managing monthly legal update bulletins which we prepare for clients: carefully proofreading two Word documents to check for spelling and grammatical errors; emailing a list of clients each month with the content; liaising internally with colleagues to prepare email templates; keeping our bookkeeper informed as to what she needs to invoice out.
3. First point of customer contact for our courses and events: responding to incoming emails and phone calls and deal with customer queries; handling the booking administration.
4. Managing the back end of our podcasts: uploading podcast episodes into our software, adding shownotes and including descriptions of each episode.
5. Travelling to events where possible and helping with the on-site administration (our next lecture tour is to seven cities in November 2023: www.hrsecretstour.com).
6. Sending out postal mailings, such as welcome packs for new HR Inner Circle members. Important: you will need to have sufficient storage space for the things we need you to post out, enough for half a dozen boxes of books, stationery and similar.
Additional responsibilities:
7. Helping manage our subscriber database.
8. Helping members of www.hrinnercircle.co.uklocate items on our website, or with other general queries.
