Are you an experienced Administrator with a genuine wish to support the drive towards Net Zero? The Diocese of Guildford has an exciting opportunity for a Net Zero Administrator to join our team at our office in Guildford.
The Net Zero Administrator will be passionate about energy and carbon reduction and a significant part of our commitment to support the Church of England’s target to become Net Zero by 2030.
The Diocese of Guildford has oversight of 83 Church of England schools. We have recently been awarded a £4.1m decarbonisation grant to reduce the omissions of our Church school estate as part of our Net Zero Carbon ambitions.
The Net Zero Administrator role will be part of our School Buildings Team and will work closely with our Net Zero Programme Manager and our schools to provide administrative and project coordination support to contribute towards the successful delivery of the school capital buildings programme which includes the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), School Condition Allocation (SCA) and Devolved Formula Capital (DFC).
This is a new role which will require excellent financial, reporting and project coordination skills to ensure that capital funding programmes are delivered effectively and on time. You will also have strong problem-solving skills, an ability to communicate effectively, and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have their own vehicle as this position will require some travel. The role is based at Church House, Guildford with some flexible working split between the office and home working.
