UK Road Tanker Inspection (UKRTI) are excited to recruit for an experienced Administrator who offers fantastic administration and customer service experience. You will report directly to the Operations Manager, but work closely with Engineers, office staff, customers and the British Engineering Services Group functions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-moving business which has benefited from recent investment and has strong growth plans.
UKRTI (part of the British Engineering Services Group) are an accredited supplier of testing, inspection and certification services for road tankers across the UK. We employee Engineer Inspectors across the UK to visit our customer sites and complete inspection services.
As a Administrator you will liaise with our Engineers to ensure that inspections are planned and organised efficiently and effectively, whilst providing our customers with an amazing customer experience, every time. You will complete all administration, certification and due diligence following the inspection- so amazing administration skills, and excellent attention to detail are an absolute must.
This is a permanent role, based at our UKRTI site in Batley. Hours of work are Monday- Friday 8-5.
What will I be doing?
- Working with engineer surveyors booking their inspection appointments
- Using your excellent (you might say refreshing) customer service skills to contact our customers and inform of, or confirm their booking
- Using your fantastic problem-solving skills to keep our engineer travel time to a minimum, ensuring that we are as efficient as we can be
- Prioritising and organising urgent inspections when required
- Dealing with customer queries through to resolution
- Reviewing and processing data relating to customer accounts
- Following agreed processes and procedures to ensure service standards are consistently achieved
- Identifying and pursuing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- Completion of the certification administration process
- Updating multiple systems to ensure work is recorded accurately
- Inspiring everyone to see how important the safety of their staff, themselves and anyone around them is!

What experience and skills do I need?
- Ideally you will offer experience working in a scheduling or planning environment, but full training will be given to the right candidate
- You must have excellent administrative experience
- Experience in a phone based role
- Experience producing reports and formal documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise work in a demanding environment
- A resilient nature
