Job description

Are you keen to work with students & teaching staff to support an excellent learning experience and student attainment? Do you have a strong customer service focus and administrative experience?
Birkbeck is in the process of a major restructuring in its 200th year and the student experience is key to our next century. You will be part of a team supporting a diverse group of students and teaching staff in the delivery of academic programmes.
To be successful in this appointment, you will:
- Be flexible and willing to work in a range of academic areas, as needed to ensure a smooth transition to the new structure in August.
- Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience of administration, preferably in an education setting.
- Be comfortable using a variety of electronic systems (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SITS student records, Moodle etc), though training will be provided.
Remuneration:
Grade 4 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £28,728 rising to £32,096 per annum.
The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
