JOB TITLE: Administrator
HOURS: As contract
SALARY: £21,000
HOLIDAYS: As Contract
Purpose of The Job
To provide administration support to the company to ensure the smooth running and harmonisation of services to Residents.. The post holder will be expected to work in each of the settings in Amethyst Health Care. The main responsibilities will include but not be exhaustive of :
Main Duties
- Supporting the overall running of the homes by providing administrative support.
- Be a point of contact for support workers, service users and their representatives
- To answer the telephone in a polite and professional manner, and check answer phone messages each morning
- To assist in meeting by taking accurate minutes and ensuring that these are promptly typed and distributed to the appropriate persons
- To assist in the recruitment process and provide administrative support to managers
- Liaise with other organisations on behalf of Amethyst Healthcare
- Process staff mileage and expense claims
- To process Archiving
- Assist in the processing of monthly payroll
- To support management team to write and send letters where appropriate
- Ensure that mail is sent promptly and with the correct postage payment
- Assist with the management of meetings and appointment and ensuring that there is an appropriate venue available.
- Process Disclosures Barring Services
- Ensure that Service user and Personnel records are maintained and recorded appropriately
- Manage the ordering and stock checking of stationary and supplies.
- To ensure general office duties such as filing, typing, photocopying, faxing is completed and organised in a timely manner.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and tidy working environment
- To carry out Audit as needed.
General Responsibilities
All workers have a responsibility to work with colleagues in maintaining the service delivery.
- Attend meetings as necessary
- Participate in support/supervision system
- To represent AMETHYST HEALTHCARE and to promote the ethos and work in a positive way and to fully feed back to the organisation.
- Contribute to the annual report
- Undertake training to update skills in line with AMETHYST HEALTHCARE training policy.
- To maintain anti-oppressive and anti-discriminatory work practices
- Abide by AMETHYST HEALTHCARE confidentiality policy.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000.00 per year
