Administrator
(BAM) Buildings Asset Management framework – Rail maintenance
Location – Warrington
A fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our rail, Buildings Asset Management / maintenance (BAM) team in the North West region supporting the framework team with day to day administration for projects and remits within the framework.
Business Unit
A busy and fast paced business unit involved in a range of Infrastructure Projects and Framework contracts in rail and non-rail, civil engineering environments. Works within the region include bridges, embankments, stations, platforms, tunnels, structural steel installations, moving structures etc. The business unit are involved in multi-disciplinary civils projects across the North West region, whether infrastructure projects or maintenance works around the region working with a variety of clients and tier 1 contractors.
The Role
Our Buildings Asset Management Framework requires an Administrator to join the team at our Warrington Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and tactical support to the framework team. Your duties and responsibilities will be varied on a day to day basis and would include but not be limited to tasks including:
- Maintain routine records relating to items processed, files documents and keeps filing systems up to date such that information can be readily retrieved.
- Plan own work to meet priorities and delivers to pre agreed deadlines.
- Produce folders, letters, reports, emails, forms and schedules, utilising a wide range of PC based software packages.
- Filing of project information as required, including uploading electronically.
- Perform general internal administrative duties, including stationary ordering, copying drawings and general photocopying.
- Order of PPE items as required & sundries items.
- Collate the whereabouts for the following week for all office based staff.
- Provide inputs into client and company reports as required.
- Support and take part in company / industry initiatives as required.
- Support wider support teams as required.
- Maintain electronic diary system (Outlook).
- Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.
Requirements
- Experience in an Administrative role (construction or civil engineering experience may be beneficial)
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload and work autonomously
- IT literate with a working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including Excel, word and PowerPoint.
