As our Senior lead for Strategy, Market Research and Business Intelligence, one of your key areas of focus is to support the development and delivery of the corporate strategy, target segments, value proposition and to help define the underlying initiatives that will successfully drive a sustainable NHSBSA. You will be an individual with outstanding business acumen and the ability to influence across a complex matrix environment. You will have an ability to synthesise disparate information, data and insights into coherent business strategy and value propositions will be central to success.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting the Head of Department and Executive Director in the shaping and delivery of strategic discussions and workshops, the delivery of business planning and the development of Corporate Strategy and Business Plan documents, working at a very senior level within the organisation.

- Pro-active in insight generation and communication to ensure robust market and business intelligence which in turn informs our Strategy.
Key accountabilities include:
- Communicate deep market and customer insights to inform decision making that identifies key areas and articulates target segments and corresponding value propositions
- Support the Head of Strategy, Planning and Performance and Exec Director of SPBDG to translate sector changes into meaningful insights to support LT
- Be aware and understand Business Partner Strategies to ensure alignment and fit
- Support strategic alignment with partners to effect robust relationships and connecting other parts NHSBSA to the sector and create opportunities for the broader business.
- Influence product development and channel initiatives through robust market and business intelligence.
- Knowledge of existing health and care markets and working across the NHSBSA and wider system as appropriate to develop and maintain robust landscape assessments.
- Working collaboratively with appropriate Leadership members and Heads of Services and external stakeholders including the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS organisations to define the strategic vision of the organisation.
