We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Administrative Operations Manager to join The East Kent Children’s Therapies team.
The Children’s Therapies service provides Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Care Co-ordination services to Children and Young People aged 0-19 with a broad range of needs.
You will work as part of a clinical support team to facilitate the delivery of an effective service, lead on projects and support the management team across the East Kent Children’s Therapies Service. You will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the admin team, conducting appraisals, supporting service audits and collating timely data to support the Locality Clinical Managers (LCMs) and wider team to ensure they are meeting key performance indicators.
You will also have the opportunity to influence service development and design through project based activities, which will be supported by the clinical teams, service managers and Business Manager.
The role will be primarily based at Green Banks in Margate but there are opportunities for hybrid working. You may also be asked to support the team at other bases within the East Kent locality at times if required.
- You will organise the admin team to complete all tasks required by the clinical team in a timely and efficient way. This will include prioritisation and flexibility.
- You will ensure you and the admin team are able to support and signpost patients, families and other key stakeholders to key information requested.
- You will work with clinicians to co-ordinate and process a broad range of confidential information to support the service to deliver assessment and intervention.
- You will support, model and deliver training and supervision to junior Band 2 & 3 staff. This will include conducting appraisals, 1:1 meetings and ensuring personal development of the team.
- You will support the LCM’s to manage estates & facilities in our various sites and to contribute to pay and annual leave calculations and queries.
