Salary Range: £23,703 to £26,401 pro rata per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (hybrid working - home and office based)

Contract Type: Temporary for 1 year

The Role:
Joining our Hampshire and Isle of Wight Public Health team, you’ll provide high quality, administrative support to teams who are responsible for making a real difference to the lives of people living in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll use your previous administrative experience to maintain key project plans, records and registers, identify resulting actions and monitor their progress through to completion. You’ll also use your experience to record and distribute minutes and follow up actions in a timely manner.
Your attention to detail and organisational skills will support you in scheduling meetings, arranging venues and coordinating the associated resources. Using your excellent team working and communication skills you’ll support your colleagues to deliver a robust and resilient service.
The department supports flexible working including offering a 9 day fortnight and flexible hours to support caring responsibilities. The role is also well suited to working from home although there will, on occasions, be a requirement to be office based.

Travel Requirements:
You may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight or other local authority, and therefore need to have the ability to travel, as necessary.
