Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and professional Administrative Officer to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in education, health, or science and will be responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, including education providers, apprentices’ employers, apprentices, and Ofqual. The candidate will also oversee all office administration tasks. A significant part of the role is understanding and ensuring compliance with all educational regulations as stipulated by Ofqual.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a point of contact between the organisation and external parties, such as education providers, employers, apprentices, and Ofqual.
2. Manage all office administration tasks, including but not limited to document management, scheduling, and correspondence.
3. Ensure the organisation is up-to-date and compliant with all Ofqual educational regulations and communications.
4. Learn and understand all relevant regulations and procedures related to our business operations.
5. Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
6. Assist in the preparation of regular reports and presentations.
7. Support the planning and organisation of meetings and events.
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an Administrator, Administrative Officer, or similar role.
2. Background in education, health, or science is highly desired.
3. Familiarity with office procedures.
4. Ability to work remotely.
5. Proficiency in MS Office.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
8. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new regulations and procedures.
Working conditions:
This is a part-time temp to perm position based at home, with regular face-to-face meetings.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £22,241.00-£23,315.00 per year
