About the role and our team
Join the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Service as an Administrative Officer!
In this role, you will be working in the Passport, Immigration and Nationality services, providing administrative support to our teams whilst delivering a friendly and courteous service to our customers.
Some of your duties in this role will include:
- Dealing with routine enquiries by phone, email and in person at the Immigration counter
- Check and accept applications for Visa extensions, maintaining and updating Immigration’s files
- Inputting all applications onto the Immigration Service system

Please note a Home Office Security Clearance check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
