We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates to fill the role of Administrative Officer within the legal division of Home Office. The role entails preparing appeal bundles, working to strict deadlines to ensure bundles are submitted timeously and in line with strict policies and procedures and will include regular updating of data required for allocated cases, following guidelines provided.
You will need to be proactive, able to work both within a team and independently, and to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and flexibility.
Location: LUNAR HOUSE, CROYDON
Salary: £ 13.67 per hour
Duration: 12 months. To start asap after security clearance obtained.
Hours: Full Time: Mon-Fri, 37 hrs per week
Flexible working: Must log into work before 10.00 am and not work later than 07.00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
If placed into a role you will undergo extensive training and the expectation is that you will stay in that role for the duration of the assignment, or a minimum of 4 months, before we can reassign you into a different business area. If you feel the role upon offer is not suitable you will need to discuss this prior to undergoing training.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative support, regularly checking and inputting the required data for allocated cases
- Prepare appeal bundles for timely submission, working to strict deadlines
- Flagging any complex cases and/or errors immediately, bringing to attention of Manager
- Monitor the case records of appellants to ensure compliance with records management principles and data protection
- Work with Management Information reporting
- Proficient IT skills, including Outlook and Excel - full training will be provided on internal systems
- Accuracy in data entry is essential
- Good eye for detail
- Clear and concise English communication, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
