Mayo House and The Chestnuts are looking for a Administrative asissitant to suport the management teams in the day to day running of the home.

Both homes are situated in Yate and support people with learning disabilities. The job is unique as no day is the same. In each location the people we support are very involved in the running of the home. In the role an admin you will be expected to build positive relationships with the peolple we support and staff team alike.

The successful Administrative Assistant will support the Managers by providing a wide range of general administrative and clerical duties. These will include greeting, welcoming and assisting visitors, ensuring the office area is tidy and secure, handling incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone (taking messages, forwarding, answering queries), as well as any other ad hoc office admin tasks, such as photocopying, printing, archiving and handling petty cash. All while maintaining confidentiality in line with GDPR legislation and communicating in a professional, efficient and timely manner.

No experience required, as you will receive all the training you need to be successful in the role.
