As an Administrative Assistant with TAS you will work closely with the Nursing team to provide administrative support as well as caring for patients. This involves performing as part of a team in order to ensure the smooth daily running of the unit. Most importantly, it means maintaining the highest standards of care and effectiveness. Therapeutic Apheresis Services (TAS) in NHS Blood & Transplant is a vital area of modern healthcare, improving patient outcomes and saving lives. The Therapeutic Apheresis Services team delivers a range of therapeutic apheresis procedures for patients across the country. These include performing stem cell harvests and white cell depletions; providing plasma exchanges for neurology, renal and haematology patients; carrying out red cell exchanges for patients with sickle cell disease.
