Office Administration Assistant
Start date: 1st September 2023 or as soon as possible
Hours: 35 hours per week, 41 weeks of the year (38 school weeks plus 5 INSET days and 10 days during school holidays)
Salary: Scale 4 Spine Point 7 – 10 (pro rata) £23,483 - £24,659
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Administration Assistant to join our office team, providing general administrative support in our busy school office.
South Rise Primary School is part of an innovative and forward-thinking multi academy trust comprising of seven schools in Greenwich and four schools in Essex. The Partnership offers immense opportunities to develop the quality of provision, sharing of good practice and professional growth.
We are a three-form entry school, judged by OFSTED to remain a good school at our last inspection in January 2020. We are a research-engaged community and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways of developing teaching for learning. You will be required to:
- Use a range of IT packages to provide efficient, effective and comprehensive
- Provide an excellent level of customer service for our staff, parents, pupils and other visitors to the school
- Work as part of a team and uphold the vision and ethos of the school at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is a natural when it comes to customer care; articulate and always happy to
- Is able to work flexibly, solve problems and be proactive
- Has excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills
- Can work independently and also contribute to a strong team ethos
- Has at least 2 years’ experience of working in an office environment, preferably a school office
