Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Administration Assistant to join this highly prestigious law firm. This is a key role for the firm, ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing administrative support to all fee earners and secretaries, including (but not limited to) the following duties:
- Audio typing.
- Filing, photocopying.
- Preparation of court bundles.
- Arranging of appointments.
- Dealing with client and member of the public enquiries in person and by phone.
- Opening/closing client files.
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors and organizing refreshments.
- Ensuring kitchen and rest rooms are adequately stocked at all times, shopping for consumables such as tea, coffee etc. as necessary.
- Manage both the incoming and outgoing post and courier service.
- Taking the Daily banking.
- Book meeting rooms through Outlook calendar system.
- Provide cover in the event of absences for the archivist, including archive and file retrieval and distribution, file enquiries and looking up deeds/wills.
The ideal Administration Assistant will have a positive, proactive attitude to their work, excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Salary: £19,000 – £20,000 per annum
Hours: 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch)
