This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
This full-time post is available within the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) administration team, on an open-ended permanent contract.
Under the direction and guidance of the PGT Support Officer and a team of Programme Administrators the post holder will provide a broad range of administrative support to several Postgraduate programmes: http://cedar.exeter.ac.uk/
Duties include support for a wide range of student administrative processes, assisting with the management of all coursework submissions and returns, data entry, maintaining filing systems, answering the telephone, responding to email and other general duties. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of academic and support staff as well as have contact with postgraduate students.
This busy and varied role would suit someone who has some experience in administrative support and who would enjoy working in a busy, dynamic and challenging environment. The role is also suitable for recent graduates. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, administrative and communication (both written and verbal) skills. They must be reliable and well organised, be able to manage competing demands, maintain confidentiality at all times, and be able to work as part of a team. Excellent IT skills and computer literacy are essential.
