Vision Care at Home are a domiciliary Opticians who have branches in Scotland, Newcastle, Manchester, Yorkshire & Birmingham.
We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our ever expanding team in Glasgow.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Providing external support for clinical teams in care homes and private residences.
- Preparation of clinics for patients in a care homes
- Answering telephone calls from care homes staff and patients relatives
- Ordering spectacles and lens prescriptions for patients
- NHS submissions claims and reconciliation
- Updating patient information
- Arranging spectacle deliveries
- Other administration duties including filing, record keeping etc.
The following skill required for the role are;
- A high level of communication is vital
- High level of customer service and organisational skills
- Ability to problem solve and maintain calmness under pressure
- Computer skills, although full training given
- Good level and understanding of GDPR
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
