Student Administration and Academic Affairs is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join its team supporting Student Placements in the Faculty of Medicine.
The Placements Team provides administrative support for all aspects of clinical placement activity across Medicine programmes. Major elements of the post include timetabling of student placements, processing student travel claims and payments to placement providers, collating student grades, resolving queries from students and academic staff and liaising with staff in NHS Trusts and General Practices. You will work closely with members of the team and colleagues across the University to ensure effective and professional support for all aspects of placement activity.
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who would like to learn about administration in an education context. You will be an excellent team player, well organised and adaptable. Excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills are required as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
