Timco Hoist Services is looking for a motivated, organized individual to take over administrative and bookkeeping duties. We are looking for someone to work 3 days a week, approximately 3-4 hours a day, depending on the amount of work to be done. Hourly rate will be $18/hour to start. Scheduled hours can be discussed and set between employee and business owner. This job will be completed out of company owner’s home. In Lethbridge AB.
Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Reconciling bank accounts and company credit cards
- Processing payroll, semi-monthly using Wagepoint
- Processing GST, PST and other tax payments
- Filing WCB and WorkSafe BC documentation
- Preparing year end documentation for accountant
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
- QuickBooks online Experience Necessary
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Organization

- Willingness to learn

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- 2 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Current criminal record check
- References preferred
