The role
We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support the Directorate and the Division of Student and Academic Services (SAS).
SAS is made up of five distinct teams: Access, Student Employability, Success and Development; Education Development; Teaching and Learning Development; Student Admissions and Administration and Business Improvement Support and Delivery.
Reporting to the SAS Divisional Office and Finance Co-ordinator, the primary focus of this post is to provide excellent clerical and administrative support to the SAS Senior Leadership Team.
The post holder will deliver efficient administrative processes across the Division, and support the reception service for the Directorate for the Student Experience.
An excellent team player with strong customer focus, you will have relevant administrative experience plus excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal correspondence, emails and accurate note taking, and be able to demonstrate strong computer skills, ideally with knowledge and experience of Oracle Financials. A positive and flexible approach to work with good time management and the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively to meet deadlines.
