Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Working hours 9-5.30pm Mon – Fri with weekend work during the breeding season (1 weekend in 3 from February to June

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stud Administrator to join our team at The National Stud.

The Stud Administrator will
¨ Ensure that all horses arriving to board at The National Stud have the correct paperwork, tests and vaccinations.
¨ Create new horse and client records, ensuring the information is shared with the JCE Finance Team.
¨ Maintain accurate records within the EquiSoft database, ensuring input of daily vet lists and client communications are conducted in an accurate and timely manner.
¨ Enter and circulate detailed foaling reports and associated records.
¨ Be proactive in keeping clients fully informed; maintaining positive relationship and demonstrating excellent customer care.
¨ Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, clients, and relevant suppliers.
¨ Provide comprehensive and accurate communication to colleagues.
¨ Maintain confidentiality at all times in relation to business sensitive activity, client data and personal information acquired through work.
¨ Collate required paperwork.
¨ Assist the Head of Bloodstock with the collation of seasonal stallion fertility data.
¨ Meet and greet clients and visitors to The National Stud, making them welcome, contacting the appropriate member of staff and providing refreshments when required.
About you
¨ Ability to extract and interpret computerised information and documentation.
¨ An understanding of confidentiality and data protection
¨ Good IT skills and the ability to input data.
¨ Excellent interpersonal skills
¨ Strong organisational, administration and planning skills
¨ An interest and commitment to your own continuous professional development
¨ Ability to work well in challenging situations.
