Sales Support Assistant – Job Description
8.30 - 5pm Mon - Fri
Talking Business has an exciting opportunity opening for an enthusiastic Sales Support Assistant to work in a small friendly team. The job involves the usual office administration and supporting Sales Account Managers, processing phone sales and other general ad hoc duties. Our Sales Support Assistants are highly valued members of our team. They enable the Account Managers to focus on what they do best!
The successful applicant will have:
- Good administrative skills and IT skills
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and be able to use his/her initiative
- Must be highly organised
- Have a can do attitude with a willingness to help out on all tasks that may arise
- Excellent communication skills
Talking Business is currently undergoing some exciting changes and this position has a growth potential to learn new skills in sales.
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
- General office administration duties (Maintenance, upkeep & management)
- Organising files and keeping records up to date
- Assisting Sales Account Managers with any support required
- Answering customer phone calls and building strong relationships with them
- Sales Order Processing
- Processing credits, returns and keeping customers up to date with any issue’s with their orders.
- Navigate a courier portal for the despatch of orders
- Tracking deliveries
- Processing parcels delivered to the office
£20,000 - £22,000 a year depending on experience
