Why does the job exist?
This position will provide a wide range of administrative support services to a busy administrative team. This position will work closely with the Human Resource Director and provide back-up as necessary for the reception area.
How does it get done?
This position will perform specialized clerical tasks relating to databases, the Microsoft Office suite and Internet search processes. Incumbent will assist callers and visitors with basic HR information. Will be responsible to verify a variety of human resource information for personnel files, this includes processing employment verification. Assist the HR Director with the upkeep of personnel and position files including the archival process of personnel records.
Who are the customers?
Our facility is a secure facility which serves the needs of adolescent males ages 13-17 with a history of violence and/or aggression. This position will provide clerical support to the Facility Department Heads.
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate will have critical thinking skills and experience performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an organization efficiently.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of related experience in office administration. Substitutions Apply.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an adolescent treatment center, with exposure to mentally and/or behaviorally challenged residents, who may exhibit unpredictable behaviors. This position may work in an office setting using related office equipment, with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Ability to push and/or pull, lift and/or carry fifty (50) pounds +/- with assistance may be required.
