Role: Nursery Administrator
Salary: £21,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract/Hours: Permanent / Part-Time – 16 hours per week
Location: Waddington, Lincoln
Closing date: Midnight on 28th July 2023

A bit about the role
Spring RAF Waddington is a 100 place purpose built setting offering full and part time childcare for children aged 3months – 5years. Our staff are strongly committed to children being competent and confident learners with secure skills for life and continuously use routine and activities to support them.
In the role of Nursery Administrator you'll be performing varied administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, data input and collation, amending directories, operating manuals, replenishing stationery and operating systems etc. You'll be highly organised and able to focus on attention to detail and working to tight deadlines.
What you'll be doing:
Some key responsibilities of the role of the Administrator will be;
- Providing an excellent front of house service to greet internal and external visitors, ensuring their experience is welcoming and professional.
- Retaining up-to-date and accurate records of financial transactions through the inputting and retrieval of data from information systems, including the payment of invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, card readers, online payments and P cards.
- Providing written, verbal and e-correspondence.
- Maintaining telephone communication (including switchboard- where appropriate) both in and out of the office ensuring messages are processed and other enquiries dealt with in the appropriate manner.
Let's talk about you
We're ideally looking for someone who has:
- Level 2 in Business Administration but we are very open to relevant experience, rather than a qualification.
- The ability to use Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel to a high standard.
- Effective written communication skills to assist with the preparation of departmental reports and invoices.
- Dealing with invoices and payments would be advantageous.
- The ability to achieve and meet deadlines set.
- Strong attention to detail including minute taking.
