Job description
This is a split role with 50% office based and 50% factory based
Accounts admin to include
Customer invoicing, monthly statements, data entry of purchase invoices, flagging discrepancies, Credit control – chasing outstanding invoices, Posting customer payments, Dealing with customer & supplier invoice/statement queries, Checking payments received for pro-forma settlements
Admin to include
Answering the phone - dealing with any queries taking messages where necessary, Dealing with day-to-day emails, Raising purchase orders for all supplies and materials, chasing delivery times, Updating customer records, Managing documents & files, other ad hoc duties
Factory Admin to include
Unpacking of parcels coming in, Raising customer orders through internal system, Preparing orders for shipment with couriers including parcelling and some lifting, Unpacking goods received and dealing with accordingly, Checking supplier invoices against delivery notes and checking for any price discrepancies
Skills/Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales & purchase ledger admin
- Knowledge of Sage or in-house accounting systems essential
- Ensure that all work is completed to work specification and to the standards outlined in the process and procedures.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with job/order management systems would be desirable but not essential.
- Excellent command of English as attention to detail and instruction is vital.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
