Team Leader Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Team Leader Administrator to join our friendly and dynamic team. Pay is £11.68 per hour.

Role Responsibilities:
· In conjunction with the Service delivery management ensure that staff are familiar with work processes and systems for the delivery, recording and monitoring of enhanced services, QoF, seasonal campaigns such as Flu and other local and national initiatives
· To ensure diabetic HiHub notifications are actioned in a timely manner.
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service delivery administrators
· Assist and support the service delivery staff in their daily tasks and provide additional training where necessary
· Identify training needs and arrange training programmes for members of the admin team
· Deal with patient complaints, only escalating where necessary
· Ensure accurate recording of data to maximise practice income and income-generation opportunities
· Oversee the practice patient recall system ensuring robust mechanisms are in place to identify new patients to disease registers and timely recall of existing patients
· Oversee the recording of childhood immunisations, cytology reports and other services provided by outside agencies
· Deal with IT issues as they arise, seeking assistance with more complex issues as appropriate
· Ensure all staff are working within the requirements of information sharing and data governance regulations
· Liaise with the management team to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place and updated as appropriate
· Assess own performance and take responsibility for own actions, either directly or under supervision
· Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities, and making suggestions on ways to develop and improve performance
· Participation in an annual performance review, including taking responsibility for keeping a record of personal and/or professional development
· Taking responsibility for own development, learning and performance and demonstrating skills and activities to others who are performing similar roles
· Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients’ needs
· Manage own time, workload and resources
· Ensure staff appraisal are conducted in a timely manner
· Carefully apply Practice policies, standards and guidance
· Participate in audits
· To provide pastoral care to staff and colleagues as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
· Exceptional communication skills (written and oral).
· A professional telephone manner.
· High level of computer literacy.
· Previous experience using SystmOne.
· A flexible pro-active approach to work.
· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise task effectively.
· Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm in difficult situations.
· Professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
