ABOUT THE JOB:

The Engineering Administrative Assistant tasks are to coordinate various administrative duties related to Engineering designs, scheduling, and sales efforts.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate engineering designs and ensure that they meet all project requirements.
  • Coordinate the schedule and production of drawings and incorporate them into existing drafting systems.
  • Review production specifications, modifying equipment settings, and facilitating design concepts.
  • Participate in design/engineering meetings to suggest ways to improve production and performance while using fewer company resources.
  • Provide design support to internal and external customers by facilitating specialized aspects and expertise in different engineering concepts, as well as design and implement engineering methodologies to maintain consistency.
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with industry codes, project requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Compile and report on process safety information for each project drawing.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Assist with project work as directed by Department Manager.
  • Comply with all ParkUSA policies, procedures and guidelines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in engineering related field of equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in Salesforce and SAP required.
  • Experience working in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Construction Industry preferred.

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Vision Requirements:

Over 2/3 of the time the worker is required to have:

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)

Up to 2/3 of time the worker is required to have:

  • Distance vision (clear feet at 20 feet or more)
  • Ability to adjust visual focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

  • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions throughout their day: activities occur inside the office environment and outside in production or the yards.

  • Moderate noise to loud noise when in production.
  • Quiet conditions when working in the office.
