The NPEU Clinical Trials Unit (NPEU CTU) are looking for an enthusiastic Trial Administrative Assistant / Data Coordinator’s to join our team working on clinical trials, looking at the best way to care for premature babies. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team developing skills in medical research and the opportunity to also contribute to wider development work of the Clinical Trials Unit.
The postholder will be based within the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) which contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
The NPEU is an internationally recognised, multi-disciplinary research unit based within the NDPH at the University of Oxford, Old Road Campus in Headington, Oxford. The unit undertakes research about pregnancy, childbirth and new-born babies.
We are seeking a part-time (50% - 70% FTE) Trial Administrative Assistant / Data Coordinator’s to provide administrative and data management support across a range of NPEU CTU clinical trials which evaluate a broad range of interventions for women and babies in the perinatal health services.
You will ensure that trial systems are maintained to the highest level of integrity at all times. You will also assist in the continuous development of efficient administrative and data management systems to ensure prompt and accurate processing of the trial administration and data.
We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to their work and excellent organisational and communication skills. Excellent computer skills, experience of data management and a good eye for detail are also essential requirements for this post.
There will be opportunity for some hybrid office/remote working in line with department guidance.
The post is part time (between 50-70% FTE) and fixed term 2 years. The closing date for applications is noon on 4 September 2023.
